AMS (v.2.0) demo-version
Requirements to the computer:
  • Microsoft Windows 98, ME, NT, 2000, XP;
  • Pentium I 200 MHz or faster;
  • 32 MB RAM or more;
  • 200 MB hard disk free space.
In order to get a DEMO-version of AMS (v.2.0) for raster maps click hear. The file "AMS2rastr_e.zip" (12,7Mb) will be downloaded on a hard disk of your computer.

Installing AMS (v.2.0) for raster maps:
  1. Extract the archive file "AMS2rastr_e.zip" into directory on your selection.
  2. Run "Setup.exe" from the directiry, where you extracted "AMS2rastr_e.zip". The installation dialog box should appear.
  3. Select directory for AMS installation.
  4. Click the button "Install".
  5. Close the installation menu when "Installation complete" message appears.
When the installation is completed, AMS becomes available in the "Programs" menu, folder "ATLAS", subfolder "AMS2". Run "AMS(DEMO)".
In order to get a DEMO-version of AMS (v.2.0) for C-map digital maps format ÑÌ-93/3 click hear. The file "ams2cmap.zip" (40,6Mb) will be downloaded on a hard disk of your computer.

Installing AMS for digital maps:
  1. Extract the archive file "ams2cmap.zip" into directory on your selection.
  2. Run "Setup.exe" from the directiry, where you extracted "ams2cmap.zip". The "C-Map installation" dialog box should appear.
  3. Select directory for AMS installation.
  4. Click the button "Install".
  5. Type the diagonal of your monitor in inches in the dialog box and click "OK" button.
  6. Follow the eToken installation instructions.
  7. Close the installation menu when "Installation complete" message appears.
When the installation is completed, AMS becomes available in the "Programs" menu, folder "ATLAS", subfolder "AMS2 C-Map". Run "AMS(C-Map)".

C-MAIL demo-version
Requirements to a PDA:

The PDA must be running under Windows Pocket PC 2000/2 OS and must support a COM-port via connection cable.

In order to get a DEMO-version of C-MAIL click hear. The file "c-mail_e.zip" (1Mb) will be downloaded on a hard disk of your computer.

Installing C_MAIL:
  1. Extract the archive file "c-mail_e.zip" into directory on your selection on your PC.
  2. Install MS ActiveSync provided with your PDA onto your PC.
    NOTE! Before installing ActiveSync, ensure that your PDA cradle is not yet connected to your PC. Connect the cradle only after you have finished installing ActiveSync.
  3. Connect your PDA to the PC via a serial cable.
  4. Launch ActiveSync and establish connection with the PDA.
  5. In the ActiveSync main window Click button "Explore". Window "Mobile device" will appear.
  6. Open the folder "My Pocket PC\Windows\Programs\".
  7. Copy the file "CMAIL_COM1.cab" from the directory where you extracted the archive file "c-mail_e.zip" from folder “CAB” into "My Pocket PC\Windows\Programs\".
    NOTE! If you have a PDA Dell Axim, copy the file "CMAIL_COM2.cab" from the folder “CAB” instead of the "CMAIL_COM1.cab".
  8. Run the "CMAIL_COM1.cab" from your PDA.
  9. After successful installation the file "CMAIL_COM1.cab" will disappear and folder "CMail" will be created.
  10. Soft reset your PDA.
  11. To run C-Mail on your PDA tap the “Start” button and select “CMail” from drop-down list.
